Just got me a new helicopter, i sold the Hirobo Freya 90 to get a new and more 3D capable helicopter and from what i read the Frenzy is it. It is also a very cheap helicopter but it still seem like it is okay in quality. This is not the complete build thread, i have just started to build it, and i am a slow builder. Get back tomorrow the for some more build tips.
This i Day 1.
As you can see the box is boring no fancy cover, but i don’t care, as we say about the girls, it is what’s inside that counts :)
I got some advice to change the clutch linen, because the original is some sort of rubber, and i did that with a Raptor linen, check out the pictures. I headed the bell to get the old linen out. That is a good tip.

Looks good so far. I have two TZ-50 V2′s and love them. My -90 will be here in a week. The clutch is a must. I have been emailing JS about this on the -50 and will give them advice during my -90 build. Other areas to watch are the tail drive gear shoulder bolt and tail pinion within the tailbox. Apparently two potentially weak areas. The last on is the belt itself. China has a hard time getting correct rubber formulations and their belts tend to stretch. I am already seeking a bando belt retrofit. I was actually looking at the Freya belt. By the way, the Freya is a capable machine. It’s the parts that will eat your wallet. One crash and you might as well buy a new kit. Hence no more Freya for me.
I expect the JS TZ-90 V2 to be a good machine. Like you I will take my time and document my work. Please let me know if you find anything else.
