I was out flying this weekend, after a long period with no flying. I finally got the time to spend a day at the field with some easy and nervous flying but it was a good day at the field, UNTIL.
It was the last flight this always happens on the last flight :) but this was the flight where I just had to use the rest of the gallon and on that flight, one of the tail blades was ripped off. And what happens when one of the tail blades and the grips is pulled off in flight ?
The tail will start swinging and at one point the tail will hit the main blades and what a crash, in 10 meters height the Frenzy 90 TT just self-destructed completely and fall to the ground in pieces. What a shame that I didn’t get that on video!
But here you can see some pictures, I didn’t feel like repairing the heli yet but I guess it is going to be expensive.
Smackdown 2011 will be held on May 6 to 8 it is going to be even bigger this year.
Already PB Smack got pilots from Norway, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Holland, Lithuania, France, UK, USA and a few from Denmark coming this year. And there is still a few open entries available.
Remember this is a fun-fly every helicopter pilot are welcome.

It is a completely new team JS are starting to get a more international market, and make the models even better and more used in the RC Helicopter industry. I think this can be a great step for JS i am expecting big things for this new team.
I am traveling to the JS factory next month for an introduction to the JS team and the other team pilots, more about the other team pilots later. It is a long trip that is for sure Check out the factory here.
But for now I am very happy that I got the chance to get even more involved in the RC Helicopter industry, and contribute even more to this great hobby and sport.
