A midair crash is always amazing stuff, most of all because it is very rare, changes that a heli and a plain smashes into eat other is very little but it happens, and boy do I love to see the video and JetJockJoe45 from YouTube provided this video. Observer the silences after the crash :(

Smart phones can be used for alot of good thinks i know i used mine at 3D masters for updates my site from the flight line. But now Align(i thing) has found new ways of using the Iphone, controling a quadrocopter with an Iphone.

I am missing some 3D action with that quadrocopter

“Chop, chop, chop”, “LOWER” and “Kill IT” is some of the shouts you can hear when you are at a RC Helicopter event. At the 3D Masters event this year i was fortunate to sit with the Danes, being from Denmark that was obvious. We had a great time and the cheering was just making it more fun for us and i think for the pilots, they seemed to like a recognition.

At the moment there is a thread on Runryder discussing the cheering and the noise the crowd makes, some like it some don’t. I like it, i think it makes the event more relaxed and enjoyable for all.

We use an expression: “Talk him down” and that is part of it to, it proves if the pilot is good.

When your at a 3D Master event like i was i Venlo this year there is a lot of things going on all the time, and when you are trying to get some of the good stuff down on video you can’t get lucky all the time, but this time a had a bit of luck with me. We where watching a flight when all of a sudden in the other end of the field a helicopter was doing a chicken dance.

At the time i didn’t have my camera in my hands but the dance was just going on and on, and i got most of it on camera, check it out here i am guessing there is a lot of rebuild after this dance:

I am ready for sure, i am going this year and i am sure it is going to be great, the only thing i will be missing is flying myself. But when i am going you are going to, i am going to keep you posted with updates all weekend and when i get home from my vacation i will upload some videos and pictures for you.

The 3DMaster is at Jupiter Modelvliegclub in the Netherlands. It starts July 23.

The local TV station showed up at last weekends helibatic competition here in Denmark, Kim one of our top pilots in Denmark, shows a small flight, short but good quality video, especially the part where you can see on Kim’s face that something is almost about to go wrong.

RCHeliResource.com posted a great trailer video from Smackdown on the beach, what a great video. It makes me all sad that i wasn’t down there at this great event. It looks like the world event that you would like to be at. I am going next yeah if my wife don’t see this video :)

5 days 19 hours 2 minutes 2 seconds to the PB Smackdown, and this is going to be an excellent weekend, 170 pilot from all over the world and i am one of them. i am very excited and i expect to get some good cleat fun at the weekend like we always do at the PB Smack.

I haven’t been flying alot with my frenzy but i am sure that next weekend i will get some flight houres in the frenzy and maybe i will get time to finish my Frenzy review, yes i still owe you the rest of the review, i am sure it is going to be good grades for the Frenzy.

I am getting ready i got a tent, a chair, a sleeping back and i got the day off Friday i hope :)
