RC Helicopter information,

Smart phones can be used for alot of good thinks i know i used mine at 3D masters for updates my site from the flight line. But now Align(i thing) has found new ways of using the Iphone, controling a quadrocopter with an Iphone.

I am missing some 3D action with that quadrocopter

It is raining outside today, the last day of my vacation and boy would i have loved spending the day flying, but NO !

But i never waist time, i have been adding 448 new flying fields in Germany, really great. We now have 3981 over all registrations the highs registrations world wide, and you can see the new fields in Germany here http://map.rcheli.dk/?club&contry=eu zoom in for more details.

I am working on integrating the flying fields to a smart phone solution. Keep your eyes open.

At the 3D master i decided to try to count the number of nitro helicopters and the number of electric helicopters, and i did that more or less as promised, i installed an application on my android phone for editing excel document and i updated the document every hour or so and the result you can see here:

Nitro still is the dominating choice, but it is just a question of time i am sure, you can’t see any difference in flight style between the two. Only how long the flight lasts.

The results are not scientific. :)

Back from Helibatic and in front of a real computer, I have just uploaded a few pictures from Helibatic, just to get you in the mood. I am not competing at Helibatic this year, sorry to say the other guys seemed like they where having a good time like always. But no I didn’t get the change to practice for the competition this year. But I did get some flights in today and the frenzy was kicking.

I got the chance to say high to Benjamin today, I meet him for the first time at PB Smackdown, he has only been flying for about a year, but dame this guy is good. Check out his video I made at Pitchbrother Smackdown 2010, I little late I know.

Just got the new Nokia 6700/6300 classic. When I get a new phone I like to give it a personal touch.
For some time I have working on an idea. The idea was to make a RC Helicopter theme for my phone, most of all because I haven’t been able to find any RC Helicopter related phone theme anywhere, I am guessing that I am not the only one interested in a RC Helicopter theme for the Nokia 6700/6300 Series.

I have tested the theme on my Nokia 6700/6300, but I think you can use it on other Nokia series too, check it out yourself, and post a comment if it is working on another Nokia series.

I have already had a funny episode with the new ringtone, I was cycling with my kids in our residential area, and I was thinking who the hell is flying an RC heli here, insane!. When I realized it was my phone ringing!!! The new theme is working great.
