RCHeli.dk just got a new server, do you like the new speed, I do, I would like to celebrated that with a repost of my very first post, Have a good day:

My beginning with RC Helicopters

It started at an RC show, it was a great show, and it was there where I really got the urge to start to fly. After some time and a daughter, I went to a club to hear some more about RC Helicopter. The advise where not too good, the basic proposal to me was that I should start with the fixed wing, and I did really want to start with fixed wing!

After a looong time, I decided that I would buy a simulator, I could then see for myself how difficult it was, I did buy Realflight G2 and started to fly with helicopter, it was difficult. But after a week of intense training I was able to hover, it was a beginning, I trained regularly and did better.

In the same period, I got a new baby son, and changed jobs where there happened to be a new colleague who flew with fixed wing. I got me a good RC talk with him, he bought himself a simulator, where after he concluded that it was reasonably close to fly with a real RC planes, it was a good confirmation that I was on the right path.

The family and I moved to a new city, me and my son when to walk with my son in the stroller, and to my astonishment, I fund a RC shop within walking distance of my new home, it was a cars only shop, but there was a helicopter on the floor with the transmitter and the whole thing, I had to hear more about.

After some days I finally came into the store and had a talk with the dealer, he told that it was used and that he had purchased it from a guy it was a Hawk 4 with FF9 transmitter, and some extra stuff. I bought it. This was back in 2004.

From there I was hooked and you know the rest

I changed the chick section

World’s first manned flight

This is just amazing, the World’s first manned flight with an electric multicopter from E-Volo.de, this is a video of 3 guys having the vision to see what they expect the future to bring, and voting from there video i would agree that there could be a future possibility to fly around in a multicopter.

I would personally s*** my pants, if you had to sit on top of that thing, but the 1½ minuts must have been amazing.

JS Frenzy 90 TZ-V2, first test flight

You know the guy at your flying field there always seems to have problems and luck is not in his dictionary. I AM THAT GUY, with no luck :)

But i have learned to live with it :)

On the positive update, i got the Frenzy airborne and yes it flies nicely, here you can see below i made a small takeoff in my garden just to check the engine. The video is to boring this is just a screenshot of the video

That was a good start some days after i was heading to the flying field, well this day i would like to forget about this day, i flooded the engine resulting in the clutch coming loose, resulting in binding the clutch and no flight that day, as you can see from the pictures below, first day at the field bummer. But the Frenzy was easy to disassemble compared to the Freya.

Some days after i headed to the field again, a very windy day but hay no problem it a helicopter right. You can’t setup a gyro in hard wind but i could still get it up in the air, and i did it went well, i did some engine tuning and some gyro tuning, had some small tail wag but with some adjustment i was gone. While i am on the subject gyro setup let me show you a good link this is a QA from Spartan, very good information http://www.spartan-rc.com/support.php

But then the problem started, suddenly in a low upright flight the helicopter just started spinning very fast it is my luck that i am practicing piro maneuvers with the throttle hold i manage to land the helicopter without a scratch.

With some post flight inspection i discovered that the tail was stating to some off or the axis on the tail was. A lesson to all of you when you get a preassembled model check every screw on the model, i apparently missed two at the tail. As you can see from the pictures the two screws holding the tail axis was not placed correctly resulting in the tail sliding to one side and the helicopter doing aggressive piros.

Farming NEWS, Wasps problem

No Gravatar

Some days ago i showed you how to solve the bad wheats problem, here is the next solution if you have Wasps or any other flying insect in your farming field or flying field, then you can solve it as shown below :) amazing solution. I am thinking about starting my owen farm, that way i can fly RC Helicopters all the, and still make some money.

My personal experience, if you have some insects bothering you when you fly, you can fly low so the smoke will gets around you, that way the insects will fly away, that is farming news for today :)
