Crashed my JS Frenzy 90 Torque Tube

And that is before a even got the review done man it is not really my year, i have had more accidence this year than i have had the last 3 years ! why oh why!

The reason why i crashed was the new servos, it is metal servos, note to self, lock-tit on metal ! one servo horn came off in flight.

I was a minor crash but it is still ground time for me :) the new engine OS 91HZ-R seems to have massive power and i am only in the burn in phase. can’t wait to get this heli ready for the summer, and i CAN’T wait for the summer!

Yep Mr. Helifreak didn’t agree with my posts, and that is why he decided that I was not welcome anymore, why not give a warning, just block people that is a little cheap in my opinion.

But I just had to make sure and asked Mr. HeliFreak why I was blocked :) I personally like the in-depth arguments.

Any news on why I can’t post?

Did you disable my account?

This was my second mail, first there was no answer.

Mr. Helifreak:
Why do you use HF? Looking at your posts is why I am asking?

To share information, isn’t that the basic reason a forum is created?

Yes some of the information is from my site, I provide information myself.

Did I violate any of you positing rules? Please let me know, and please do it before you block my access, that would be a nice service.

Have a nice day.
Tim P

Mr. HeliFreak:
You should start by reading the terms of use you agreed to when you joined. We don’t need users on the site who are using us for personal gain saying they are here to share info.

Thanks for letting me know :)

Unlike you I don’t get ANY personal gain, unlike your site, my site is free,
I don’t make any money on it AT ALL.

But it still work my a** off to provide a good pilot locator and some useful information for my fellow RC Pilots.

Sorry I violated your rules.

Have a nice day.

Mr. Helifreak: no answer.

As you can guess I am not a fan of Mr. HeliFreak, i guess I he has decided that I violated this rule:

“2.5 Advertisements. You acknowledge and agree to not advertise any goods, websites or services on this Site without the prior express written consent of HeliFreak. No spam/advertising is allowed or tolerated.”

Read all the HeliFreak rules here

I don’t agree with Mr. HeliFreak if you have some RC Helicopter related stuff just share it, if it’s an advertisement or anything it is information and the best is to share on the internet.
A forum site is only a success if you have good users on the site, Mr. HeliFreak is makeing all the money while the user’s are providing all the information, that is a shame, for the users.

Well life must go on, with a different username and a different IP, have a nice day Mr. HeliFreak

And I mean it, if you have something RC Helicopter related you would like to share, feel free to leave a comment. I will approve.

I was out testing my new Frenzy, a video is on its way :)

The specs for the Team Orion VDS 1007

  • Transit Time: 0.07sec
  • Torque: 10Kg (138.9oz/in)
  • Weight: 52.4g

Build JS Frenzy 90 Torque Tube, day 3

The heli is done, got the last ajustment done with the eletronics and it is now ready to fly. I had some problems fitting the govenor sensor and the caberator with the pump on the OS 91HZ-R engien, i move the sensor to the other site, i hope the muffler don’t get too hot and burn the wire.

Other the that i was a fairly easy assembly, 3 night is in my world fast :)

Now i am ready for the test fligt, it is starting to snow here :( keep a look out for a complete review on

Here are some of the last pictures, for all the pictures go here

    And the final results

Build JS Frenzy 90 Torque Tube, day 2

Back on second day of the build, I forget to mention on little thing there is a different from the normal Frenzy you can set it up as a flybarless (FBL) out of the box, you just need all the electronics.

Back to the build, the tail and the servos are mounted and now I just need to setup the governor and gyro and the RX/TX.

I did notice one think do, a torque tube is very easy to mount compared to the belt driven, not a big problem but then again, and it is nice when it is easy.

The only think I had to do extra today was drill the tail like with the first version, read about it here

    Some status pictures:

When mounting the tail link it is a good thing to adjust the length for link so the link arms are at a 90 degrees angle that way you are almost sure that the helicopters tail is correct adjusted, and not pirouetting.

I got some other new stuff to, i will write about: Team Orion VDS 1007 servo, use them for my cyclic and a new OS 91HZ-R engine i can’t wait to smack that engine around. :)
